Aquilegia coerulea forma daileyae (Columbine)
Helleboraceae (Hellebore Family)

Even though this is the spurless form of Aquilegia coerulea, it takes part of its name from the spurs and petal-like sepals of Aquilegia coerulea: 1) "Aquilegia", Latin for "Eagle", refers to the Eagle talon-like spurs and  2) "Columbine", Latin for "Dove", refers to the flower's resemblance (from the rear or side of the flower) to a group of Doves.

"Coerule" is Latin for "blue".
