Botrychium echo

Wagner named this plant in 1983 from a specimen collected at Glacier Lake near Ward, Colorado. It grows one to five inches tall. The plant is found only in the Four Corners states and is rare in Colorado and Utah.

The species name "echo" was given this Moonwort because it echoes, i.e., possesses characteristics of many other Moonwort species.
