Objectives:

  • Disseminates information about Colorado native plants and natural landscapes both to Colorado Native Plant Society members and to the people of Colorado.
  • Works with businesses, institutions, agencies, and other societies to publicize the objectives, functions, and activities of the Colorado Native Plant Society through brochures, a speaker’s bureau, and various other media.

The Colorado Native Plant Society’s Education and Outreach Committee specializes in presenting a variety of slide programs, developing training and informational materials for land managers, and leading interpretive hikes that focus on plant identification and general ecology for the young and old alike.  Please contact the Committee Chair, Megan Bowes, if you would like the Education and Outreach Committee to speak to your group or otherwise support your educational event.
